    Rainer grew up in Massachusetts, where she developed a passion for public health through volunteerism with disability organizations. “I have a family member with a disability, and much of my childhood was spent volunteering for different disability-related organizations with my family," Rainer said. "I also worked at a summer camp for kids and adults with disabilities, which is where I first started to develop my passion for working with people with disabilities.”
