Campus Tour Stop

students walking through College Woods

Right here at the edge of our vast College Woods natural area and trail network, you can smell the fresh forest air and hear the crunch of pine needles underfoot. Here, summer’s wildflowers become fall leaves. Here, miles of perfect snow for cross-country skiing become spring’s many little waterfalls. Here, immersed in nature all four seasons, you’ll feel away from it all — just a five-minute walk from your dorm. Bring your walking shoes and a friend, or a journal and a hammock. Or, just bring yourself — and a sense of adventure.

There’s so much nature to explore right here on campus. Get lost. Have fun. Breathe it in. It’s time to find your new favorite trail.

Where to next?

Your next stop is our state-of-the-art New Hampshire Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, located at the edge of campus. This lab is a critical resource for the community and state – and, of course, our pre-veterinary students, who learn by doing at a leading center for animal health.
