Dairy Bar

Campus Tour Stop

Students in line at the Dairy Bar checkout

Here is where your new favorite flavor awaits. This one-a-kind Wildcat spot is a historic train station turned modern Amtrak hub. It’s also a dairy bar with a remarkable array of ice cream flavors — and one of the most sustainable cafes in all of New Hampshire. This kind of history-meets-innovation/charm-meets-access/sustainable-meets-sweet only exists at UNH.

  • UNH-Durham sign at the Dairy Bar amtrak stop

Grab a scoop and jump on the train at our campus Amtrak station

  • Picture of mint ice cream dairy bar shot with whipped cream on top

Serving up the best ice cream in town

  • Student picking lettuce at on of UNH's greenhouses

The Dairy Bar is one of three restaurants in NH to be considered 3-star green certified (the other two are also located on campus)
